APRENTIK is a company which does Educational Robotics in different schools in Catalonia. One of our aims is to arouse the girl’s interest in technology professions and break the stereotypes, because currently the majority of our students are boys and we want to change it. We work to promote the gender equality in STEM Education all at once. Therefore, we launched an initiative in which consisted in sending an invitation to all girls in the schools we are doing the after-school activity to attend in one of our classes and see with their own eyes that Robotics is for everyone. We want to make visible that Robotics is not about gender, but about following their own interests.
