Although boys and girls have the same abilities and capabilities in the use and learning of technologies, girls underestimate their competencies in this regard due to pressure and stereotypes of gender, which undermines their professional expectations (PISA 2015 Report).

This is the frame of reference of the project “An engineer in each school”. A group of telecommunication engineers, from both the academic world and the business world, will give a talk, workshop, an hour’s length lecture about their profession, how they became telecommunications engineers and do an interactive demonstration of what they do.
